Podcasters tend to be so excited with the media that they want to get it out to as many people as possible. Whereas I understand the excitement, the fact of the matter is this – people are moving to timeshifted media because it puts them in charge. When you’re in charge, it is hardly the time to be interrupted with a Celebrex commercial.
People are willing to pay for content they like. Let’s give them the opportunity.
There is more than enough attention on the ad-supported model. Let’s move to the pay per view infrastructure.
