As I mentioned yesterday, I’m comparing Adsense to Yahoo in a pure numbers format. Same site, same ad placement, let’s see how they go.
Now, Adsense prevents folk from giving the exact details in their EULA, but let’s put things into perspective here.
Day 2 of testing – Google is seeing 3.2x better clickthroughs but only 1.58x the effective CPM. If you run the numbers deeper that means that Yahoo is paying me more per click but Google is getting so many more clicks that they’re paying me more for the same ad space.
