Beyond being technically capable of consuming a Podcast, your audience must want to consume it. Triggering their desire is a key element. Many content producers make the big mistake of presenting an exaggerated egoistic view of themselves. Does your audience really want to listen to you for an hour each week now that you have the capability to deliver that much content? Just looking at the Podcasts at iTunes makes you wonder, “Who on earth would ever want to listen to that?” The answer is “No one at all.” Someone, somewhere just got excited about the sound of his own voice.
