Don’t Just Syndicate The Content – Syndicate The Event Too!

Tonight at 7p Pacific / 10p Eastern is another live episode of the New Media Matters Show. Should be a good time. As mentioned earlier, I have Leesa Barnes of the Social Media Telesummit on to talk about her event and the model accordingly. We’ll also play a few snippets from some of the preview calls she’s done to promote the event.

As always, you can attend live via stream at the New Media Matters Show site. We’ll take live questions, etc.

But, syndication isn’t just for time-shifted content … remember that.

We’re using the engine at PhoneAndWebcast.com to manage the show and provide the streaming. Part of what they offer is very easy iFrame code that let’s us integrate the player wherever we want.

Heck, I’ll put that code here:

Here’s the QA module code:

Now the show ain’t just at the New Media Matters Show site – it’s also here … at Leesa’s site. That’s three sites where someone can "listen in live."

Synidcation is the secret sauce of Web 2.0. No longer must we force people to come to us, we can come to the people. This should be done with live events as much as anything else.

I guess the title sums it all up here but the concept is simple – syndicate anything you can – you’ll be better for it.

Just remember to have a plan for profits too 😉
